Nowadays, longitudinal ventilation method has become the mainstream of long and big highway tunnel operation ventilation. Choice of longitudinal ventilation control method affects the safety and easiness of driving and electric consumption in operation directly. It is also one of the key techniques, which put highway with "high speed, high efficiency, safety, easiness" into reality.On the base of feed-forward intelligent fuzzy logic control system prototype, this paper performs particular research and design to each constituent of this system. In traffic prediction model, model based on traffic features, self-adaptation weights model, neural network model, fuzzy logic model and simulation model are put forward. To compare these models with each other, simulation tests are preceded. In aerodynamics model, traffic ventilation power, machine set-up pressure, fluid pressure loss, natural ventilation power etc are taken into considered. In contaminant diffusion model, steady and dynamic model are discussed separately. Combined with simulation technique in traffic prediction, and adopting numeric method, contaminant distribution along the tunnel is researched. In fuzzy logic control module, choosing the BeiBei tunnel of Yu-He expressway as the engineering background, we perform particular design for feed forward intelligent fuzzy logic controller, and use the Fuzzy Logic toolbox in MATLAB to obtain the control surface.Based on the models above, C++ language is used to make programs for feed-forward intelligent fuzzy logic control system, and simulation tests are also carried on. The results indicate that, compared with traditional feedback control, this system can decrease fan's start-up frequency greatly, save energy consumption and get better driving conditions. At last, some optimization measures are taken. On the base of keeping contaminant level and energy consumption unchanged, fan's start-up frequency is decreased furthermore; accordingly fans' lives are prolonged.
