| In this paper influence of grounded pattern on power system is synthetically analyzed. The basic characteristics of three kinds of grounded pattern (ungrounded,grounded through a small resistance,resonant grounded) currently used in medium voltage network are analyzed and simulated with the graphics simulating software MATLAB. The modules in the SimPowerSystems toolbox of MATLAB are used to build model. The changing rules of zero sequence current in different time and different grounded circumstances are analyzed and simulated and more research of resonant network is done. Based of main frequency arc extinguishing theory, the intermittently arc grounded sequence are simulated only with a module named breaker the first time and the restrain effect of arc extinguishing coil to intermittently arc grounded over voltage are also analyzed. Besides, the ferroresonance-inspiring conditions and some measures taken to restrain the over voltage and ferroresonance are analyzed; their applicable areas and characters are also compared in this paper.
