In this paper, the analyzing way of harmonic wave and harmonic oscillation is studied and the influencing factor of harmonic wave and harmonic oscillation is discussed deeply and choose the best restraining way based on these factors. Harmonic question based on random harmonic source is also studied. In this paper, what the main work has been done as followed: Using electric schedule method analyzes the harmonic wave of system, and the influence on harmonic wave distortion factor and harmonic oscillation frequency that made by changing of all kinds of working equipment is also studied; Researching the wave filtering equipment and the system of arc furnace of random harmonic source. Based on character of electric arc resistance come from electric arc theory can get the resistance scan graph of arc furnace system and can get harmonic wave distortion factor through emulating the whole system; Designing the wave filtering equipment based on harmonic oscillation frequency of arc furnace system. The passive wave filtering equipment and reactive-load compensation equipment have been designed separately and gotten the best scheme through comparing the wave filtering and compensatory effect.
