Taking DG670 model boiler for example, this paper thoroughly analyses the questions exists in the boilers'peak shaving , such as the combustion is not steady, the peak shaving ability is weak and the automaticity is low etc. Make it clear that such measures as combustion adjustment and the burner transformation should be taken when the boiler designed not for peak shaving used for electrical network peak shaving. Analyse the factors that influence the boilers'combustion stability, and define the combustion adjustment test proposal, and then establish the combustion adjustment optimization scheme. Through analysis of the steady burning mechanism of different burner, establish the burners'lectotype principle, put the burner transforming into effect, and appraise and analyse it. Combining DCS transformation, accomplish the logic design and optimizatoion work of the combustion management system of boiler made in our country gone into operation in early stage, and raised the automation standard of unit greatly.
