This paper mainly focuses on the design of the experimental platform for permanent magnet BLDCM based on DSP, and the control methods of permanent magnet BLDCM.In the area of hardware design, the system uses TMS320F240 DSP as microprocessor, and uses intelligent power module (IPM) as inverter, the whole system's hardware has a very compact structure and can operate with high reliability.The back-EMF method is applied to senseless control scheme .The rotor pre-setting start method is used to start motor, which simplifies the starting procedure and ensures to start the motor reliably at any position of the rotor.The system software has proper structure and relativeiy T1 is used in the software to achieve such functions as PWM output, the production of signal collecting time-sequence and speed loop and current loop period, shift time control, etc.Finally, experiments have been done on this platform. The experimental waveforms of currents and velocity are showed in the paper, the results fully approved the usability and reliability for the platform. It helps a lot to the efficiency of experimebtation.
