It has study the law of regional karst upgrowth in the vicinity of Chongqing-Beibei on the background of construction of tunnel project in ChongQing, and guided the geology prediction of Tongziling tunnel and Longfeng tunnel. In the practice of geology prediction, the HSP method is researched and applied to detect the karst geology. It has proved by practice that the precision of the HSP method is high; especially the effect of distance detection of another wall of full-filled cave is very good.Besides, the thesis has study the content and method of the information design and construction in the complex karst upgrowth of tunnel. In view of the effect of numerical analysis method lies on the mechanical mechanism of stratum reflected by model and the value of wall rock parameter, therefore, the thesis has investigated the research method of rock strength, in particular the Hoek-Brown experiential strength criterion and its applicable range the value of experiential parameter m and s, and the application of this criterion in the field of underground engineering.Pilot study was made by numerical simulation on the effect of tunneling due to the exist of the large-scale, linear and regular cave in stratum such as dry cave of Tongziling tunnel, and on the effect of stability of cave owing to tunneling, in order to guide the design and construction of tunnel.
