When constructing tunnes, Karst geological hazards are primary geological problems in southwestern and central southern china where karst region generally exist. It was important issue and problem to resolve tunnel construction mechanismand technology confronted in Karst region, for Karst, not only encountered but concealed, should be conducted suitably. According as Karst developing grade and special distribution principle, countermeasures to deal with different kinds of Karst were brought forward by adopting geological prediction technology, calculating lining structure load and theoretic structure model, simulating construction process,etc. This research achieved some fruits as follows:(1) Analyzing basic factors and postulates of Karst developing, and effect erected by geologic constructing, we achieved some basic principles which provided references for analyzing Karst exist forms under different Karst geological condition.(2) By adopting geological prediction technologies, calculating lining structure load and theoretic structure model, and simulating construction process, we assessed ground stability in Karst region and checked erecting bearing capacity of construct by Force Principle, and then fathering technologies were also brought forward, whch optimized countermeasure plans and lowered the blindness on selecting plans.(3) Depending on optimizing plans and tradition technology, it is of benefit to lowering time limit for a project and cost by adopting comprehensive technologies, such as Roof-propping, Grouting curtain, Lining against water pressure, etc.(4) Adopting geological prediction technologies and geophysically prospecting in Karst region, geological hazards would be prevented very well, and it provided scientific references for conducting different kinds of karst, lowered blindness on construction and ensured project safety. Geological prediction technology was proved important and necessary process for tunnel and geotechnical engineering in many projects.
