| Field measurement and mathematical modelling are 2 approached to obtain the indoor temperature, pressure and velocity fields. Field measurement can provide exact indoor information, but it is time consuming and expensive and can only give results under prevailing weather and building conditions. With the rapid development of computer technology, mathematical modelling is more and more widely used to simulate indoor temperature, pressure and velocity fields.Among the commonly used models, Zonal model is a relative simple method for predicting indoor temperature, pressure and velocity, which is an intermediate model between multizone and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model. Compared to multizone models, zonal models can provide engineers with an estimated view of airflow and temperature distribution within a room, which cannot be predicted by multizone models. Compared CFD model, zonal model have the characteristics of simple simulation, time saving and convenient evaluation.Firstly, this thesis introduced basic concept, developing course, developing status and developing direction of 5 kinds of mathematical models which can be used to predict airflow and contamination distribution. Secondly, this thesis introduced the basic structure of zonal model and wall conductive model. Finally, this thesis presented a zonal model basing on SPARK software. In order to get the information of temperature, pressure and velocity fields, this thesis presented a zonal model basing on the Simulation Problem Analysis and Research Kernel (SPARK). Compared with other zonal models, the SPARK can automatically solve the nonlinear equations inside zonal models. So researchers can get rid of heavy solving arithmetic work and concentrate on the kernel problems of research and design, which will improve the researching speed. Secondly, this model will have much practical value because that it considers the influence of outdoor temperature. Thirdly, it will be easily coupled with other mathematical models. Furthermore, Making use of reference data, the thesis has done a simulation with CFD models and the presented model. The model is validated by comparing the results of these 2 models. |
