In this dissertation, the key technologies of taper roller bearing optimized CAD system are researched including of parametric and optimized theory. Basing on these, the constraint-based feature parametric design of taper roller bearing is put forward. The modeling of taper roller bearing' s optimized design is built. In the end, the optimized CAD system of taper roller bearing is presented.Chapter one is the exordium. The background of CAD system for bearing is discussed. The development of the optimized theory and parametric technology is expounded. The arrangement of this paper is presented finally.The basic theory of parametric technology is researched in chapter tow. It is included of the development and definition of feature modeling. The definition and classify of geometric constraint also is discussed. The constraint-based feature parametric design is presented especial for taper roller bearing.In chapter three, the definition and development of optimized theory are researched. The elements of optimized model are design variable, objective function and constraints. They are discussed. According to this research, the optimized modeling of taper roller bearing is built including the elements: variable, objective function and constraints.In chapter four, the optimized methods are researched. The methods including non-constraint solves, constraints solves and Genetic Algorithm solves are analyzed and compared. Based on the characters of taper roller bearing optimized modeling, the best method- Synthesised Constrained Dual Descent Method is selected. Synthes-ised Constrained Dual Descent Method for the optimization of taper roller bearing is described.In chapter five, the standard design method of taper roller bearing is researched. The construction of taper roller bearing is introduced. The standard design processes for the accessories of taper roller bearing are presented, based on the known parameters.In the chapter six, the optimized CAD system for taper roller bearing is presented in details. Based on the analysis of system's demand, the main function factors are built. They are the database factor, optimized design factor, standard design factor, inquired design factor and output factor. In the end, the optimized design factor is tested by an example and proved that it is accurate.In the last chapter, summarization of this research is presented. And the future of bearing CAD system is expected.
