In this dissertation, the intelligent optimization algorithms are used to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing for there are some defects of optimal design of taper roller bearing realized by the traditional optimization algorithms. Some improvements are made to the Simple Genetic Algorithms and Standard Simulated Annealing Algorithms based on the actual facts of optimal design of taper roller bearing. And the Improved Simulated Algorithms(ISA), Improved Genetic Algorithms(IGA) and Genetic Simulated Annealing(GSA) are used to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing. At the end of the dissertation, the taper roller bearing CAD system was developed. In this software system, the optimal design realized by Synthesized Constrained Dual Descent Method (SCDD), IGA, ISA and GSA is included. This dissertation consists of six chapters.In chapter 1, the current research of bearing design and intelligent optimization algorithms both at home and aboard. The limitation of current bearing CAD software is introduced and the contents of this dissertation were proposed.In chapter 2, the model of the optimal design of taper roller bearing and the traditional algorithms how to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing are introduced. SCDD was selected to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing and the limitation was analyzed.In chapter 3, the theory of Simulated Annealing Algorithms is introduced, and the Standard Simulated Annealing Algorithm is used to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing. Because of the drawback of Standard Simulated Annealing Algorithm, the metropolis sampling phase is divided by two small phases. The neighbor area function is different in these two phases. The elitist thinking is used in the Improved Simulated Annealing Algorithm. The experiment results show that the optimal quality of ISA is the best among Standard Simulated Annealing Algorithm, ISA and SCDD.In chapter 4, the Simple Genetic Algorithm is used to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing. In account of the defect of Simple Genetic, the real coding is used, the constraints is process by annealing dynamic function, Arithmetic Crossover operator , immunity operator and Non-uniform Mutation operator are used. The experiment results show that the optimization quality of IGA is the best among Simple Genetic Algorithm, IGA and SCDD. At last, the Genetic Simulated Annealing Algorithm which combines the advantages of Genetic Algorithm and Simulated Annealing Algorithm is used to realize the optimal design of taper roller bearing. The optimization results of SCDD, IGA, ISA and GSA were compared and analyzed.In chapter 5, the demand of taper roller bearing CAD system is realized and the design goal is introduced. Then the database module, optimal design module, standard design module, inquiring module and aided module are presented in detail. And the main interface and some program of these modules are given.In chapter 6, the summarization of this research and the future research work that can be done were presented.
