In recent years, with the social requirement of domestic and foreign development of economy and civilization, the span of large-span steel reticulated shell becomes more and more large, and the structure types become more and more complex. So, how to analyze these complex structure systems is an urgent problem in the field of large-span spatial building of the world. Traditional structural analysis is based on the single load model. However, the abuilding structure (especially large-span space building) is time-dependent structure according to construction stages. Because of time-dependent, the calculated results according to the methods of the abuilding structure analysis and traditional means are diverse.Aiming at an abuilding large-span reticulated shell, the paper analyzes the construction steps considering structural geometric nonlinear effect of large-span reticulated shell buildings. The effect of construction loads, material characteristics and boundary conditions on construction internal force is studied.Firstly, in this paper, the geometric nonlinear theory of construction internal force about dimensional girder-element is introduced. Basing on Updated-Lagrange, the paper presents the geometric nonlinear time-dependent analytical process of construction internal force. The foundation of the theory is dimensional nonlinear girder-element and its convergent rule is Newton-Raphson method.Secondly, according to the process of time-dependent analysis together with time-independent analysis and the analytical theory of taking into account geometric nonlinear, the paper analyzes synthetically the factors those influence construction internal force considering geometric nonlinear time-dependent. And it compares stress, strain and displacement according to the methods of analysis taking into account construction process and analysis as a whole structure. It still compares the effect of the various influential factors on construction internal force of large-span reticulated shell buildings.Finally, by using of the finite element method of this paper, and taking China National Grand Theatre as analytic object, the paper simulates the construction courses of large-span reticulated shell buildings. And it analyzes the calculations in detail. According to the calculations, some conclusion having practical value is gained in this paper.
