As a classic movement-transferred mechanism, helix movement-transferred mechanism is used in modern mechanical product widely. The professional CAD software system,which integrates the mechanical design data resource.computing and analysis method, three dimension model building and simulating by taking advantage of the computer information technology, provides engineer a simple and convenient mechanical design method. It is not only significant and valuable for engineer to design mechanism quickly and accurately, but also alleviates the designer's working burden and enhances the design quality and decreases the time of designing circle. The integrated CAD software system makes engineer absorbed in mechanical creative design.The paper researchs on integrated CAD system of helix movement-transferred mechanism, frictional wheel mechanism, automatic flexible arm based on helix movement-transferred principle and investigates the integrated method of the mechanical design resource and mechanical creative design and comes up with the working principle and the mechanical model of three layers helix flexible arm on the basis of analyzing application situation of the mechanical design CAD technology. The paper shows the research work and fruit as follow:1. The paper formulates the software engineering thought and its actual application method in the project researching. Based on the requirement that the CAD software developing should abide by the procedure such as requirement analysis, systemic design, detail design, software test, correction, file compiling, the paper come up with the general blueprint of the integrated CAD system about helix movement-transferred mechanism and the paper upbuilds the generalstructural frame and functional module graph on the basis of analyzing systemic target and systemic requirement. The paper formulates the method of client interface design.2. There is great significance to use parameter design technology to develop the resource integrated CAD system. It is not only the academic basis to construct the software, but also provides method base for actual development of the-modern-mechanical-designing software. In this system, designer can make decision to set the load outside, to choose working condition, to choose the mechanical type designed, to choose ideal standard dimension from database according to requirement and can actualize the parameter designing part through delivering different parameter of the same kind of part to relative program code.3. In order to satisfy the requirement that mechanism can flex within limited space, this paper conceives a kind of automatic flexible arm mechanism based on helix movement-transferred mechanical principle, upbuilds the analytic counting model and designs the mechanism through analyzing the helix movement-transferred mechanism principle. At the same time, the paper comes up with designing mechanical three dimension model of three layers helix automatic flexible arm mechanism, and the paper upbuilds the virtual prototype mechanism of three layers helix automatic flexible arm mechanism.4. This paper formulates the OLE automatization technology and the application in the research work. During the procedure of seting up the software of three layers helix flexible arm, it is possible to call SolidWorks on directly through using the interface, property and method, to use program to control the procedure of the SolidWorks drawing directly by making use of the OLE technology. The paper clarifies how to conceive three dimension design of three layers helix mechanism, how to simulate the movement, how to simulate the assemblage.5. This paper formulates relative API object and its property, its method of the Solid Woks, clarifies the second developing method of SolidWorks by using Delphi. It's true to enhance the function of SolidWorks by compiling executable code to control the procedure of the SolidWorks drawing. The content formulated by this paper has significance for second development of the other three dimension drawing software.6. The resource-integrated CAD software system developed of helix movement-transferred mechanism incorporates all kinds of resources required into the design software. It can make designer set parameter, choose parameter and working condition quickly according to actualdesign requirement. It can make designer figure out the mechanical design result through using computing module of the system, verify whether the design result satisfies the design requirement or not under all kinds of condition, and output the three dimension drawing according to the design result.
