This paper made some research on the modeling of some city bus body, FEM static intensity analysis and structure optimization. Also the paper applied FEM to analyze the frame fracture and verify intensify program. At the same time the paper still goes some further.At first this paper utilized the FEM software ANSYS to build the finite element model of the prototype bus body and carry on static calculation to examine the intensity of the bus body. Compared with the result of calculation and actual conditions, the paper analyzed the original cause of formation of the frame fracture, so as to verify the rationality of the model. Strengthening method was proposed on this basis, the finite element model of strengthened bus was built and static calculation was carried out to analyze the intensity of strengthened bus. At the same time the paper verified this method. Secondly this paper proposed the improvement of the FEM loads method, put forward a new method which uses mass unit to simulate the passengers in the carriage and built the model of passenger. The paper compared the original intensity calculation result with the later one and verified the FEM loads method. In the course of finite element analysis, it built the mathematics model to analyze the change of the loads on the axis in detail and later applied the result to FEM analysis. Finally the paper has got more accurate results.
