Developing public transportation is an effective way to solve many urban problems economically and efficiently, and it can greatly improve the urban residents' trip environment.Understanding the competition and cooperation between conventional public transportation, then optimizing the allocation of public transport resources is an important measure to promote the development of public transport and improve transport efficiency.Based on the OD of public passenger flow, the competition and cooperation between the conventional public transportation are studied. The two methods ware given to calculation the station passengers get up and down, which include the survey and calculation based on the IC card data. Then, the performance of the probability correction method and the probability model method are compared and analyzed in the OD estimation of passengers, and the probability correction method is chosen as the method of estimating the passengers' OD of bus in this study. This paper analyzes the phenomenon of competition and cooperation in the economics, deeply understands the theory of them, and summarizes the three elements: the main body, the purpose and the behavior of compet ition and cooperation. Some cases of competition and cooperation between the buses line are given. And analyze the characteristics of these cases.According to the characteristics of the competition and cooperation among the bus lines, and combining the three elements of competition and cooperation, the definition of the public transport's competition and cooperation based on the passenger flow's OD is given. The attraction is chosen as the basis for establishing the competitive and cooperative intensity model between public transports.Based on the actual data,it is concluded that the greater the non-linear coefficient, the smaller the attraction;the greater the bus frequency, the greater the attraction;the shorter the transit time, the greater the attraction.According to their relationship,a bus attraction model is established.Based on the attraction of bus,the competition and cooperation intensity calculation model are established. Finally taking the actual bus in Harbin as an example, the practicability and rationality of the model are verified.Based on the change of passenger flow, the evolution model of competition and cooperation between bus routes is given. The evolution flow diagram of the competition and cooperation between bus routes without external interference is given. And it shows that:(1)When the state is competition, and attractions of two buses are close, and the number of passengers are large, the competitive state will continue in the future,we need adjust one of them to reduce the competition intensity.(2)When the state is competition, and attractions of two buses are close, and the number of passengers are small, the passengers who choose the two bus will less and less, and in this case, the two lines will be adjusted.(3)When the state is competition, and attractions of two buses are different, the passenger will move from the bus which has less attractive to the another one,and we should adjust the smaller attraction bus line.(4)The cooperation state is the best cooperative state, and the cooperation is more stable when the two bus routes have little difference on the attractiveness of the passengers.(5)The attraction of two bus lines with cooperative is close, but the number of passengers is small. The cooperation state is morbid cooperation, and two bus lines need to be adjusted to increase the passenger attraction.(6)When the attraction of two bus lines with cooperative is different, the passenger will move from the bus which has less attractive to another one,as a result of one bus has too much passenger and anther has no passenger,we should adjust the bus line which attraction is small to improve the attraction.
