With the development of modern science and technology, square cabin has become a new type of ground equipment in aeronautic industry. Square cabin, with certain strength and rigidity and a variety of preventive functions, is an independent and special carriage, which is suitable for different transportation devices and provides the operator very good working surroundings. People used to adopt the analytical methods of structural mechanics to do the mechanic computation of square cabin, which has a low accuracy degree. The method of finite element analysis, though difficult, is more technical, and the computation result is closer to the actual situation.Based on a detailed analysis of the literature at home and abroad and the global requirements of an x type of aeronautic square cabin, this thesis makes a research of the finite-element module and finite-element intensity modeling according to the structural features, performance requirement and application situation of the square cabin. This research mainly includes (1) a review of the applications and the development of the square cabin technology at home and abroad and an analysis of the structural features, material performance and forming technology of the synthetic plates of the square cabin; (2) a research on how to apply beam and plate elements to the net-gridding of the geometric modeling of the square cabin; and (3) & (4) a study of the loading distribution and the finite-element intensity modeling of the square cabin under the four different working conditions: hoisting, transporting, sudden braking and sliding supporting. This thesis is theoretically and practically significant not only in successfully establishing the finite-element module of the aeronautic square cabin but also in the results obtained.
