With the development of science and technology, real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis technique has been put to use in various trades. However in order to meet the need of global production and global resources sharing, it is imperative to build up a real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis system based on Internet/Intranet. It is of greater importance to apply on-line monitoring and diagnosis technology to the equipment in production process, thus realizing the transformation from timing service into predictive maintenance. Likewise, on-line monitoring application of optimization is the precondition and foundation to realize digital manufacturing and maintenance.This dissertation focuses on the study of real time on-line monitoring of multiple signals, and centralized management of long-distance monitoring as well as web sites. Against the difficulty in developing and maintaining, defects of traditional monitoring and fault diagnosis system based on C/S mode, B/S mode is put forward to establish a remote online monitoring and fault diagnosis system. All the development, maintenance and upgrade are beared by the server. Client only needs to install the Internet Explorer and can master the spot status in time through the URL, which realized truly thin client. History data and configuration data are memorized through network database so as to realize centralized management. Different users can visit the system through browser by authorization, through which the safety and reliability of the system are guaranteed.The paper reviews the history of on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis technique, discusses about the realization-scheme of real time on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis based on Internet/Intranet, as well as analyses its trend. This theory on artificial intelligence is applied on the fault diagnosis by looking through lots of references at home and abroad. Based on this, the paper emphatically set forth the hardware design, software development of remote real-time online monitoring system for the blower fan based on Internet/Intranet as well as the realization of the system. Besides, the system has configurations function, so as to be. bale to build up general monitor and diagnosis LAN, telnets and integration network network system which combines equipment monitoring, diagnosis, supervision, and decision-making. At the end some ideas about the improvement of it is also put forward.The remote real-time online monitoring system for the blower fan based on Internet/Intranet is the task and direction, which has theory study and use value. As a whole, such a system based on Internet/Intranet for the blower fan is of portability and expandability, whose exploitation has got prodigious reference value for the toward practicability business software.
