This paper aimed at character of constant running gas blower and developed the system of gas blower on-line monitoring and fault diagnosing. The paper examines the development existing circumstance and future about condition-based maintenance internally compared with externally .On the based of rotating machinery fault diagnosis model, familiar fault on gas blower are analyzed. The paper analyses the main reasons of the vibration of the gas blower, the fault model and mechanism of the vibration of blower system. The methods of fault diagnosis, the kinetics model of rotor and analyze of vibration signal were also discussed. Finally, hardware and software key technology about the system were introduced in details. The hardware scheme and the way of how to select sensors and calibrate were introduced. The alarm system can alarm with light and sound. The paper introduced the frame of software and studied the way of real-time process.This system can monitor the condition of gas blower. At the same time, it included real-time data collecting and processing, interface attempting, configuration parameters setting, on-line printing. On the other hand, It can realizes historical data repeat, time field analysis, spectrum analysis, time delay field analysis, axis orbit analysis, digital filter, correlation analysis, holographic spectrum analysis, demodulation analysis, FFT delicate analysis and so on., the fault classification, position,severity and trend about the gas blower can be discovered and forecasted. The project come from the request of engineering .The system was developed based on the request of user. The system was efficient and accurate and was easy to operate. The system was improved gradually and its function was verified.
