With the development of the construction industry, the wastes of construction have been growing day by day, and most of them are waste concrete. Besides the charge for the jillion wastes disposal is very high, it also causes a lot of environmental problems. In addition, the large demand of concrete request the exploitation of natural resources—sand and stone, and so the natural resources has been on the exhausted edge for the unceasing exploitation. Moreover, besides the exploitation and transportation of natural sand and stone expands largely, it also destroys the environment badly. The recycled concrete based on environment protection and sustaining development can settle the problem. This paper mainly studies the physical and mechanical properties and frost resistance of recycled concrete, referring to the research result of recycled concrete. On the physical and mechanical properties, the paper puts the important on the compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength; analyses the influence of water-cement ratio, aggregate pretreatment methods, curing age and specimens' size to the strength of the recycled concrete. And get the regression equation of strength-water cement ratio and tensile strength-compressive strength basis on the test data. It is found that the equation is anastomotic to the test result. On the frost resistance, the freeze-thaw property of recycled concrete is investigated with the method of fast freezing and thawing test. In this paper, the author analyses the influence of the factors of water-cement ratio and aggregate pretreatment methods to durability of recycled concrete, and the strength of the concrete under freeze-thaw action. After test, variance analysis is used to study the conspicuous level of the factor of water-cement ratio, aggregate pretreatment methods and freezing and thawing cycle to recycled concrete's loss of strength. It is found that all the three factors have dramatic influence. In the last part of the paper, the economy of recycled concrete technique is analyzed and some suggestions on the further research and application of recycled concrete are given.
