The Simulation Of Dredged Sediment Transport And Diffusion On Marine Dumping Ground

Since developmen of ocean economy, Dumping dredged material in ocean is increased.lt is necessarily to protect ocean by controlling Dumping dredged material.The basic influence of Dumping dredged material is advection and diffusion. Base on shore sediment movement ,This paper select proper sediment parameter on sediment model. Based on the current observed results and calculation of 3-D current model, a 3-D sediment model is applied to simulate dredged sediment advection and diffusion in marine dumping ground outside Dapen Bay,The results can be applied to EIA and the dumping ground selection study. The model parameters is discussed in this paper.
