Study On CAD System About Scheme Design Of Railroad Cars

In this paper, an introduction for developing condition of CAD technology and rolling-stock CAD at domestic and international has been given, and the important meaning of the CAD system is proposed by studying the scheme design and summarizing the characters of railroad cars.The system uses I-DEAS as the base software of sketch and Windows 2000 as operation system, and Program File is used as development tool. Using MFC APPWizard of VC++6.0 to design the dialog box interface. In the development, Life Cycle Model and Rapid Prototype haven been used.The system gathers the parameter design and computer draw, and adopts the dialog box interface. With designing the currency Railroad cars among hard chairs, hard beds, soft beds and soft chairs, three dimensions plane and section are automatically created, and the parametric and automate design of Railroad cars come to true.Above all, this system preferably satisfies the request of the scheme design, improving design efficiency and products quality, cutting design period, and providing necessary design parameter for technique design and construction design. If keeping to develop based on the scheme design, we can make the competitive design system about scheme design, technique design and construction design, and will improve the design to a new level.
