Asynchronized Turbogenerator(ASTG) is characterized by its special structure ofrotor. The performances of ASTG by controlled dual-channel excitation are much betterthan those of conventional turbogenerator. Its appearance shows a new way to solve theproblems of continuous over voltage on extra-high voltage transmission lines due to thesurplus of reactive power and the stability of power systems with long distancetransmission line.In this thesis, based on the basic operation and control principle of ASTG, theselecting range of control parameters is analyzed according with stability of static state.And the basic demand about the analog test system of ASTG is proposed. Constructionof the system's hardware platform is discussed and the hardware system is realized withthe industrial computer, the whole set DC adjustable speed controllers and many kindsof function cards. The basic principle of the DC controllers is analyzed thoroughly andthe controller is debugged. All of this supply foundation for controlling ASTG ineffect.The operation software is finished based on the dual-channel excitation controlstrategy. Different digital filters are designed in this system according to thecharacteristics of input signal and the compensation of phase error due to sequence-sampling is applied. The software of interpolation is put forward to dispose the controlerror from excitation current rectifier. A way of electing the parameters for theexcitation controller is adopted with the operation conditions of ASTG. Using thisanalog test system, the experiments of the steady-state regulative performance of ASTGare carried out thoroughly. The experimental results show that the active and reactivepower of ASTG can be controlled independently.The fact shows that the dual-channel excitation control strategy is valid and theanalog test system studied and developed in this thesis is successful. This system canprovide a test platform for further research of ASTG and it is helpful for the practicalapplication.
