Along with the development of the economic construction, the electric power industry of our country is developing quickly. The scale of the electric power system extends increasingly, the capacity that generate electricity the equipments also corresponds the aggrandizement, the variety of the movement method of system is more and more multifarious. For guaranteeing the safety bitterly , the economy circulates and guarantees the electric power quantity, the electric power system circulate to the automatic control equip put forward the higher request.The system of excitation is the importance of the generator to constitute the part, its main mission according to the movement appearance of the generator, round toward the excitation of the generator the set provides an adjustable direct current electric current, to satisfy the generator under various movement method of demand. The function is good, the high system of excitation of credibility is to guarantee that the generator safety generate electricity, the exaltation electric power system stability must of. To the system of excitation , in addition to requesting the excitation in addition to equip to maintain the generator electric voltage level, still request it to the electric power system dynamic state and temporary the stability rises the function. Therefore it's necessary to lead to go into the power system stabilizer(PSS) , nonlinear optimal excitation control(NOEC) and linear optimal excitation control(LOEC) method to control the system positive effect in the electric power system with the full Excitation.In the past, for carrying out these controls and must depend a great deal of homologous hardware, this make regulate the electric circuit very complicated, carry out difficult and the credibility is low. In recent years, the microprocessor technique development is fast fierce, the automatic modulator of excitation that applies the microprocessor satisfied complicated request of the system of excitation bitterly .This text practices through the reformation toward 1~# turbogenerator of Shenyang Thermal Power Plant, pointing out a turbogenerator adoption from combine the advantage of the bus fed static excitation system, and carry on to the old factory from combine the meaning of the bus fed static excitation system reformation. A detailed study is made forcalculation of the main circuit, the automatic voltage regulator. Meanwhile, a successful renovation of bus fed static excitation system is get in 25MW turbogenerator .This device fit for a variety of mediumand small turbogenerator. All it's quality indexes get to beyond the stands concerned. It has full functions ,low change of breakdown, flexible and convenient operation. So the shortcoming of traditional exciting system have been overcome.
