Transverse wall beams are wildly used in many multistory and high-rise reinforced concrete buildings. In these structure upper loads are transferred through shear walls to beams and then to frame columns. As the load transfer path changes suddenly, the so called transfer floor design is very important, especially the transferring beam.design. Types of transfer floor studied and wildly applied are beam, thick slab and truss. In these years a new type of transfer floor so called inclining column has been appear in building design, but there is few study on it, so theoretical and experiment research are very important to this kind transfer. Aiming at this important problem to be urgently settled in engineering design, the research group of the author have carried out a series of test investigations on Transfer RC Floor from Inclined column to framed short shear wall. Before this test experimet, fundamental behaviors of transfer RC joint from inclined column to short shear wall under vertical static loads had been achieved. To go to deep into the research further, according to the test results of two specimens of Transfer RC floor from inclined column to framed short shear wall loading , stress distributions, final failure mode of the specimens, paths of the load transfer and the mechanical behaviors of the transfer beam are studied detailed in this thesis, the ductility and energy dissipation of the specimens are also specially studied. The results show that: 1. The beam under the wall and the beam between the walls can be considered three part of the transfer beam, which both followed the characteristics of off-center tension member, but the strain of the beam under the wall are apparent larger than others. 2. Transfer RC Floor from Inclined column to framed short shear wall can also have good ductility(>5.0) and energy sissipation.
