The quality of power assisted steering pump influences the automobile steering systematic normal running directly. The double action vane pump using extensively at present has great energy waste; however the single action vane pump, owing to output flow varying with load, can reduce energy waste. So this text adopted single action vane pump to replace double action vane pump, optimized port plate design and emulated its distributing flow characteristic. The result indicated that this steering pump had nicer boosting and unloading pressure ability in advance and met to adjustment running condition changing. Aimming for the condition that flow fluctuation of the single action vane pump is too large and force stator of it suffering is not satisfying, this text studied the pump's flow characteristic and mechanics characteristic of its stator and drawed the conclusion that vane number is odd oreven number has no relation with flow pulses when vane number is even number, force the stator suffering along the X anxis is less than when vane number is neighboring odd number and its direction is constant. In addition, this text used the software SolidWorks to build the three-dimensional model of the steering pump and carry out fictitious assembly and intervention check in order to find the mistake and lack in the design in time, thereby avoiding the waste and loss of manpower, material resources, financial resources in the course of processing and assembling in the future. In a word, this text has certain actual meanings in solving the vehicle energy consumption problem. At the same time, there is important reference value to the fictitious design of the complicated hydraulic pressure component.
