As the structural component in the staggered truss system can be produced in a large of quantity, standardization and high factory melt level in factory, which can be realized industrialization. Therefore the residential staggered truss system of steel structure has wide application prospect. Truss is the main structural component, its standardization design and factory melt produce is very important, for the application of the staggered truss system in the residence steel structure. This thesis put forward the hand calculation method for the hollow brace truss and mixture truss. The results from hand calculation method accords with the FEA results very well; The major influence factor of economy in installation course of the steel truss are analyzed; and the reasonable arrange way of brace in various of truss types are also studied. The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows: 1. When building plane is arranged for rectangle, the truss is on each floor in its quality central symmetry of both sides, and truss shear rigidity is consistent, then the structural influence of vertical torsion for truss can be neglected, the horizontal load on truss can be obtained by using the layer shear force divide the truss number. 2. The mixture truss and the hollow brace truss from the simplify system, which are symmetry by its central line, the internal force of chord is equal to 0, and the hollow brace truss member's bending on the contrary is just the member's middle point, we can get the internal force of each member by taking isolation body and using balance method, the results from hand calculation method agree well with the FEA results. 3. The structural type is key to reducing the truss production and installing cost, it is very important that in term of the principle of selecting truss type through structural type, simple, modulus, standard and unify, also make truss and its component unification, node installing simplification. So, the economy problems such as the material, production and installation cost suited the time very well. 4. The best arranging way of brace in normal truss is similarity to mixture truss, which is the triangle brace system without assistant erect member, and the end brace does not through the bottom chord reaction node. Though the effective length of chord in this kind of brace system, but the other advantages can often remedy this defect, to make its best general performance. 5. The different arranging way of brace have little influence on internal force of mixture truss under horizontal load, so the mixture truss type should be basis on vertical force.
