With the development of modern electric power and electron technology, and CAD, the performance of SRD has been improving, all kinds of performance guidelines have been on the side of other alternating current timing system, so the research on SRD has been very hot. There are two important research directions on Switched Reluctance Driver: The first is the building of the SRD system non-linear dynamic simulation model, and the second is intelligent control for SRD. The topic of this paper is the building of non-linear dynamic simulation model of the SRD system and applying the intelligent control technology to the SRD system.These research findings will give certain help to further study of SRD. This paper shows the principle of the SRD system first, and analyses SRD linear and semi-linear mathematic model, finally provides a kind of non-linear mathematic model of SRD, and basing on the non-linear model, the paper builds the whole model of SRD. Finally, simulating under the two different kinds of control styles, Chopped Current Control and Angular Position Control. Based on the nonlinear of the SRD system, this paper applies fuzzy control methods to SRM. Because traditional PID controller has the simple structure and reliability, but it has not enough power to control those non-linear systems. However the fuzzy contron is good at adapting to the nonlinear system. So this paper uses fuzzy PID method to improve the performance of SRD, which combining the fuzzy control and the PID control. This paper uses normal fuzzy control, an improved fuzzy-PID control and fuzzy gain adjustment PID control to control SRD. At the same time, this paper applies SIMULINK to these control methods. I hope this paper can do some practical work to contribute its value to the development of SRD technology.
