Research And Development Of Production Management System For Manufacturing Industry Based On ERP & MES Integration

The level and strength of the manufacturing industry is the most important symbol of national competitive strength. Production management is the core of enterprise management. And information transmission of manufacturing industry has already become the essential means for promoting enterprises. The management information system represented by MRP â…¡ and ERP, emphasizes enterprise planning, and it answers following questions correctly: "What does the enterprise need? What does the enterprise have? What does the enterprise lack? And when does the enterprise need? ". But this system cannot deal with current events in the enterprise. MES is an information pivot and real-time information pass way between planning system and production system in the enterprise. Productions management system based on the integration of ERP & MES is studied in this dissertation. Research purposes are to develop advantages of ERP and MES, to make production management of MES more rational, and the data of ERP more effective in time and to enhance competitive strength of the enterprise.The author studies the production management system of manufacturing enterprise from following aspects in detail.1. The importance of production management system for enterprise, its development trend and relative technologies, and the necessity of the integration for ERP and MES are studied.2. The conception, function modules and function goals of ERP, principal production schedule, manufacturing resource planning, control theory of the shop are studied. The concept, functions, function modules and developing trend of MES are analyzed.3. In terms of the characteristics of manufacturing production management, ERP, MES and other advanced production management technologies are studied. Based on the integration of ERP and MES, the structure and functions of production management system are designed. The integration for ERP and MES, the control and scheduling of the system are put forward.4. The relative software is studied, and the object-oriented analysis is developed.Based on the integration of ERP and MES, the production management system of manufacturing enterprise is developed by means of the combination of the structural life cycle law and prototype method! The systematic server and customer development environment are chosen, and then function trees, flow charts, the management and interfaces of the production management subsystem and the manufacture resource planning subsystem are designed.5. As the key technology of manufacturing production management system, the following technologies: real-time data base, the interface scheme of web and data base, the conversion between the different data bases, BOM and the realization of homework arrangement are also studied here.
