As one of the key parts of the aeroengine main-shaft, the dynamic performance of high-speed cylindrical roller bearing directly affects the dynamic characteristic and reliability of the mainframe. Heat generation in the working condition, instability of the cage running, skew and skid of the rollers, early wear and tear and so on are the primary reasons for the premature failure of the bearing. Thus the transient quasi-dynamic analysis of high-speed roller bearing has beco me an important part that cannot be neglected in the design of high-speed rolling bearing. On the basis of the researches of bearing kinematics, dynamics, tribology and the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory, the transient quasi-dynamic analysis on high-speed rolling bearing is performed. A quasi-dynamic analysis mathematic model of high-speed cylindrical roller bearing under radial forces and a set of nonlinear differential equations are established. The high precision Runge-Kutta arithmetic is used to solve them. The software of the high-speed cylindrical roller bearing transient quasi-dynamics analysis is also developed by using Visual C++ under Windows 2000/XP operating system. At the same time, combining with the techniques of visualization, the simulation analysis of the aeroengine main-shaft cylindrical roller bearing is performed in this paper. The feasibility of the quasi-dynamic analysis mathematic model and the credibility of the software of the high-speed cylindrical roller bearing transient quasi-dynamics analysis are verified by the results of the bearings'dynamic performance experiments. As to the high-speed cylindrical roller bearing used in aeroengine main-shaft, the working conditions and structural design parameters of the bearing are the main factors affecting the bearing's dynamic performances. On the basis of the analysis on high-speed cylindrical roller bearing transient quasi-dynamics, the effect of the varieties of the bearing's structural design parameters (such as pocket clearance and guide clearance) and the effect of the varieties of the bearing's working conditions (such as load, rotate speed, lubricant behavior) on the dynamic performance of the bearing is studied.
