A Study On Operational Mode For Sediment Flushing Of Baishi Reservoir

This paper, based on the practical measured data, apply the numerical mode of river and reservoir sediment scouring and silting ,which is written by Zhang Qishun ,to research the suitability and rationality of operating the sediment scouring of Baishi reservoir by the numerical mode. Then estimate whether it can be applied to operate the sediment scouring of Baishi reservoir so that the sediment scouring operation of Baishi reservoir will be more effective and reasonable. After validating the mode by practial measured data , use the mode to research the process of sediment silting of Baishi reservoir and choose the reasonable operational mode of sediment scouring. In the process of validating the numerical mode by the practical measured data, this paper firstly compute the parameters, then validate the mode. The computing result indicates that the mode is very suitable for computing the sediment silting of Baishi reservoir. Then research the operational mode of sediment scouring by comparing the schemes and choose a better operational mode of sediment scouring so that Baishi reservoir can make more benefit.
