Perface Along with the improvement of highway quality, as a main facility track is developing aimed at heavy loading, high speed, more comfortable and luxury. On the influence of the overseas advanced manufacturers of truck, domestic manufacturers are trying to improve the comfort and luxury of truck. The trends of truck developing with the performance of cars are new direction. Improving the comfort of driving should start with cab suspension system. We know it is vital that cab suspension system obstructs the vibration coming from chassis, so it is the most efficient approach that the capability of shock absorption is increased .Cab suspension system is important. How should we check it's capability? The test-bed is one of the most approaches. Domestic cab suspension system is made up of spring and shock absorber mainly. The aim of test is to simulate cab with a variational load. By changing the load, displacement and frequency we can test the firmness, life-pan and stability. This test is of practical sense and easy to operate, so it is used by most manufacturers. Main content This study is related to cab suspension system of FAW's Aowei heavy truck. Based on references of concerned technical literatures and other domestic and foreign congener vehicle products, we explore and manufacture a vibration test-bed used to test cab suspension system. As a member of open out this new product, I know the weakness of this product needing to test well. So I have the construct and design approach as follows: 1.Based on the aim of test, we design the test-bed, get the construct drawing. Gathering the all of information we make certain of technical approach, design the drawing of machinical system, hydraulic system and control system, and select some basic components. 2.The design of hydraulic system is the emphases. We require test can simulate cab by changing input signal of load, displacement and frequency. Thus we select electro-liquid proportion press value to change the pressure in the oil pipe so as to control the load, select motor with the changed frequency to change the quantity in the oil pump so as to control the displacement, and select electro-liquid servo value to control the frequency. We calculate the load in detail and analyze the dynamic characteristics of the whole system. We had a detailed calculation of design the hydraulic jar, too. At last we select other components. 3.To realize the function of test it is necessary that we must establish absolute and full control system. This system is made up of computer, amplifier, A/D transformer, number-display instrument and printer, the core is computer. 4.Turning the theory into practice is important. We use this test-bed to test our products successfully, get the curve charts on the load, displacement and frequency. Conclusion Test-bed is the best way to test production capability, it is of practical sense to cab suspension system. We test the firmness and life-span about our product. The reality proved that it is successful to our design. The structure and characteristic of this system reached to a leading level in the state, and it also enhanced the technical level and market competitive ability of FAW's products.By designing this test-bed, we establish a suit of design approach of cab suspension system accumulate precious experience.
