| The ecologically environmental problem that cities face has restricted urban sustainability. The studies of ecological environment protection and ecological construction planning for Dalian aims at solving the facing ecological crisis in the process of urbanization, promoting lasting development for Dalian. This paper includes five chapters. The first chapter reviews the development of ecological environment protection both at home and abroad and the facing ecological environment problems in the process of urbanization. On the basis of above-mentioned summarization this paper brings forward the necessity for the study of urban ecological environment protection and ecological construction. The second chapter applies the systematic theory and ecology principle analyzing the composition and the features of Dalian city-the complex ecosystem. The third analyses the current ecological environmental situation of Dalian city, including the studies of natural resources accounting, the destruction of ecological environment and the current situation environmental pollution. The fourth chapter analyses and appraises the main problem exiting in ecological environment system of Dalian city synthetically. The fifth chapter makes the overall goal of ecological environment protection and ecological construction for Dalian on the basis of the guiding thought, puts forward schemes and measures according to the principles of system, sustainable development, ecology, high-efficient and rational economy, the harmony of exploitation and protection and so on.
