Since the State Council approved the first batch 44 national parks in 1982, our country has obtained huge achievements in the enterprise of national park. The national park system which has the Chinese characteristics has been established. But at the same time, the phenomenon and tendency of artificialization, commercialization and urbanization in national park are more and more serious, the challenge and the pressure on the protection of resources and environment are larger and larger. Therefore, in this crucial time, it has the very important theory and practical significance to carry out the comparison research of national park between China and America.Firstly, The article comprehensively and systematically summarizes the status quo on establishment standard, administration idea, administration mechanism, resources conservation and use, planning and construction, concession of management etc. Then, it contrasts and analyzes the success experiences and failure lessons on administration mechanism, management mechanism, fund mechanism and supervision mechanism of national park between China and America.
