This paper mainly researchs surface vibration brought by demolished-building impact during the process of demolition blasting. Through studying its producing mechanism and attenuation law, efficiency measures which can control the adverse effects, are recommended.Firstly, the process of demolition-blasting technique development is reviewed, and the harvest and the last success of surface vibration study are summarized. The mechanism producing and the attenuation law of surface vibration, are studied through the impact-dynamics theory and the stress-wave theory. The expression of the impact-load, the impact-stress and the surface vibration, which are begeted by demolished-building impact during the process of demolition-blasting, are analysed.Secondly, the equivalent-congregation and single-freedom vibration-model is established, based on the characteristic of surface vibration obtained from the theoretic conclusion, and using the kinetic balanced equation, and half-space theory, and the wave-theory. Through the model, the hypocenter range, the vibration extent and the vibration frequency can be computed expediently, the mechanism of surface vibration producing is revealed, and the attenuating law of surface vibration is imaged.Lastly, through analyzing, by the based theory of dimensional analysis, the law how to decide degree of surface vibration by the key factors, a group of the dimensional analysis formulas are received. Through regression analysis of the observed data and the dimensional analysis, these formulas' undecided-coefficients are decided. By summarizing the experience between the engineering practice and the surface vibration experimentation, the dependability of the vibration-model is validated, and the measures which can control the adverse effects effectively are recommended.
