Since the eighties of the 20th century, as a series of famous architects are built up , and relevant architecture theories are issued, Dutch architectures gains attentions from all of the world gradually. Their architecture theories are really active, the cuttingedge thought emerges one after another constantly, Their architecture works have also a very strong experimental nature. The paper plan to begin from the most noticeable building theoretical problem of Dutch architecture circle --Density --to hold the development tendency of the Dutch modern architecture. Later will compare with their instant practice in China and make some useful conclusions . The thesis of writing of this text is divided into five chapters altogether. Chapter one offers an accurate range for writing of the thesis, and limit discussing area both in time and space.Chapter analyse and review the Dutch culture background and trace origins of the Dutch architect's density theories.Chapter four analyse the research for the concrete instances, in the depth of individual architects and his works,also analyses the concrete application in practice of density research from three respects. Chapter three focus on the development of density study, from Koolhaas to MVRDV and also other architects in Dutch.analyse the special elevation design style under the influence of density. Chapter six is the corresponding enlightenment and thinking, speak of the Dutch architect's practice of China and meaning. Finally, summarized the study in density and draw the conclusions.
