The stadium roof structure is limited on many aspects, such as structure disposal, architecture form and so on. The beam string structure is a new structure form recently, which is applied to the roof structure in this paper.The calculation methods were in this paper discussed. Combining the thought of Tension Distributing Method and the thought of Frozen-Heated Method, a simplified and fast numerical method was presented. This method was clear concept and convenient computation. Comparing with frozen-heated method, the method shouldn't calculate (3 and could control the precision of convergence arbitrary; Comparing with the Tension Distributing Method, it is simple and practical to adjust the force of tendons through the form of temperature compensation form.Through the dynamic character analysis of the beam string stadium roof structure, it was obtained that the stiffness of the structure was between the stiff structure and flexible structure and the frequencies were dense, vertical vibration was dominant and then the string beam's lateral vibration and torsion vibration.The effect of wind loads applied on the stadium roof structure was very significant. According to autoregressive-type simulation methods, a program considering spatial correlativity was completed. Dynamic transient analysis of the beam string stadium roof structure under stochastic wind loads was done. With this program, the behavior of the beam string stadium roof structure under stochastic wind loads and the influence of damper to wind resisting of this structure were analyzed deeply.The impact load is one of loads which the structure suffers frequently .Therefore the mechanical property of the beam string stadium roof structure under the impact loads was analyzed in this paper.
