For the coupling system of stress filed and seepage flow field is a common problem occurred in practical engineering again, It is necessary to study the coupling relation of stress filed and seepage flow field on loess. This paper is based on the previous study results of study the coupling relation of stress filed and seepage flow field on rock and soil, by experiment observation in the room, regarding this the topic has conducted the primary exploration research study to the coupling relation of stress filed and seepage flow field, this is the research project in basic science for the studying to research the works on loess and the solving of the key problems in priority engineering works and prevention and control of geological disasters, andis of the important scientific significance and practical application values.First, this paper elaborates the elementary theory of the seepage flow, and elaborates specifically three dimensional partial differential equation of the transfusion under not considering the stress condition and the affection relations of seepage flow field and tress file field each other under considering the stress. Then experimenting with the steely seepage flow's instrument which does develop independently in the laboratory. Before the experiment, first, determine the basic physical parameter of the soil sample, then, arrange the experimental plan, finally, study on the experiment. The concrete process as follows: this model experiment analyzes importantly the seepage flow field of loess under the 5.0m, 7.5m, 10.0m, and 12.5m, four kinds of water levels and the seepage flow field of loess under the 80 kPa,160 kPa,240 kPa,and 320 kPa, four kinds of pressures. Then dealing with datum which obtain from the last two conditions, drawing the diagram of relation curves, carrying on the fitting formula in view of the dig of curves. And analyzing the infiltration rule of the loess. The research findings indicate that apart from that stress can cause deformation damages to soil, permeable water pressure can also can cause deformation damages to soil; and that so, the inter-reactions between seepage flow and stress state may have great effect upon loess. Accordingly, permeable water pressure force can have a remarkable and sensitive effect upon the strength and deformation of sandstone samples. Finally, this experiment is a small model study in the room, for utilizing the experimental achievement of this paper to the actual project, We needdoing the data's simulation exploration about some deep foundation pit by the coupling of SEEP/W module and SIGMA/W module of the commercial software Geo-slope.Whereas, this paper is a study on the coupling relation of stress filed and seepage flow field on loess through the test chamber module. It is only at the beginning of this topic. Therefore, this research still has many deficiencies and some technical problems are not very good solved.
