Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC for simple) is a new numerical analysis method which consummated gradually in recent years. FLAC is similar to the Discrete Element Method, but it overcomes the flaw of Discrete Element Method. It absorbs the merit of Finite Element Method which is suitable in each kind of material model and the boundary condition with the non- regular region continuous value. FLAC adopts the Dynamic Relaxation Method for solution;it doesn't need to form the whole stiffness matrix which consumes the machine-hour. It takes little computer memory so it is fit for solving the big scale project on the microcomputer. Meanwhile, FLAC also applies the point displacement continual condition;it can carry on the big deformation analysis to the continuous medium. It is more suitable to geotechnical engineering compare to other methods which is limited in small deformation.Along with the social economy fast development, the big-scale work items of basic construction emerge unceasingly. The project object unceasing change emerges the new question along with it. How to economical, effectively guaranteed the stability of the slope project appears extremely urgently, and the research and appraisal to the stability also has the huge social efficiency and the economic efficiency.Based on above reason, in order to further study the deformation and stability on high subgrade, Duncan-Chang non-linear elastic constitutive model is adopted in this paper and some correlative FLAC program is written. In practice, the YongZhang high subgrage is studied to probe into the law of deformation and stability.1) Use the Visual Fortran to write the slope stability program in plane strain condition-FLAC2D (Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua of 2 dimensions). This program is the Lagrangian Analysis based on Strength Reduction Method, which is used to analyze the law of stability and deformation of slopes.2) In order to confirm the accuracy of the theoretical analysis, a simple slope stability problem is calculated. Compare its value to the Bishop Method, the two quite tally.3) Combining the YongZhang high subgrage to study the stability anddeformation of slope. Then compare the results to the Simplified Bishop Method, find their displacement, stress and location of slippage is quite tally.
