In recent years, as the construction of express highways, the geologic hazards occur frequently.Especially in geological condictions complex areas, building express highways are more liable tooccur slope problems. So, the slope stability of express highways in mountain areas will directlyaffect the safety of the express highway line people's lives and properties.The formation mechanism and the optimized design validity of A circuit slope in Tongling-Huangshan highway,Anhui is discussed in this paper. According to the technological route that filed investigation and study - conceptual model the establishment - analysis of mechanism of deformation and failure and check analysis by simulation -evaluation of stability of landslide - control design.The structure of rock mass, the hydrogeological conditions and rock mass hydraulic property of slide district,landslide shape and structure character indicates the model of the mechanism of deformation and failure of A circuit slope is slipping - fracturing, The main reason of deformation and failure is manual excavate of at toe of the landslide, and rainstorm is induced factor to the slope. In this foundation, simulation is performed by combining the Limited Equilibrium Method and Fast Laganragri analysis of Continua to inprove stability and the validity of the shoring carries on the slope, thus has confirmed the optimized design validity. The optimized design is used anti-sliding pile with tock tendon,prestressed anchor cable with lattice beam and local bracing structure for landslide.
