The Balance Research Of Dwelling House's IAQ In Several Asian Cities

In China, the development of economy and improvement of living levelmake people pay more attention to their indoor air quality, especially in theirliving room where they stay much more time than in other places. It is also acommon idea that indoor air quality can have big influence on people's health,work productivity and so on. During last decades, more and more new buildingmasteries, decorate masteries and chemistry liquid have been used in almostevery family, indoor air quality become worse than before. In 2003, SARS inChina frighten people and it said that indoor air was the main way to spreadSARS. All above show that indoor air quality is the one that people can notignore if people want to improve their life.In order to get some information of different counties of Asia and make abalance research, an international research team was established and five citieswere chosen, they are Tianjin, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei and Hong Kong. It is muchappreciated that Japan National Health Bureau give a support to this team andwith its support, questionnaire research and field measurements were made inthese five cities. The measurements included formaldehyde and VOCs.With the work mentioned above, it can get that there are somecommonness and differences in indoor air quality between the cities, someaffections on indoor air were analyzed in this paper.
