Along with the urban economic growth speedy and citizen standard of livingimprovement step by step, people feel unsatisfactory to the quantity and quality of urban publicspace, and are anxious to live in the better urban environment. All the above show the economicand social backgrounds of the upsurge of constructing urban square.Because urban square planning in China is short of the corresponding technologicalsupport and the relevant technological criterion and norm, the subject of urban planning is inthe passive state, which makes the urban square construction lack of rational conduction in theurban entire design aspect.
