At this stage,people pay more and more attention to the quality of urban public space,but at the same time,urban public space is increasingly affected by various types of noise.The users' experience can benefit from a positive acoustic environment of urban public space.But a negative acoustic environment is harmful to the users' physical and psychological health.With the vigorous development of square dance,square dance has become a new type of sound source that cannot be ignored in the urban public space.The influence of square dance on the acoustic environment of urban public space has not been deeply studied.The research of this subject is based on the square dance as the premise of the acoustic environment of urban public space as the research object,select the typical public space as the research area,and divide the public space into three categories: urban public square,urban park and urban residential area.In this thesis,the subjective evaluation and objective experimental measurement are combined to study the acoustic environment of urban public space,as follows:The first part(including the first chapter): mainly expounds the research purpose,research significance,research content of the thesis,and summarizes the recent research on public space,acoustic environment and square dance.Then it mainly summarizes the studies on urban public squares,urban parks and urban residential areas,and studies on the acoustic environment characteristics of urban public spaces in combination with relevant research;sorts out the research contents,methods and ideas.The second part(including the second chapter): further reviews the function and classification of urban public space before the investigation,conducts a general survey of the public space in the main districts of Chongqing,and evaluates the acoustic environment of the public space.On the basis of the preliminary investigation,three types of public spaces with representative public space with the most noisy sound pressure level are further investigated.At last,the influence of square dance on the acoustic environment of these public spaces are evaluated quantitatively.The third part(including the third and fourth chapters): carries out the objective tests of the influence of square dance on the acoustic environment of three types of urban public spaces in Chapter 3.Chapter 4 evaluates the acoustic environment of public spaces with square dance using the subjective exposure test of the site.The objective and subjective results of the public space of each urban public space are combined to further analyze the acoustic environment of different urban public spaces.The fourth part(including the fifth chapter): proposes the optimization strategies based on the subjective and objective results achieved from the second and third part.The simulation results of three proposed strategies are compared with the measurement results to explore the feasibility of the strategies..The main research contents and main achievements of the thesis are as follows:(1)The characteristics and current status of the acoustic environment of three types of urban public spaces were found,and the distribution characteristics of sound fields in the three urban public spaces were summarized.(2)Summarizing the influence of the behavioral characteristics and social attributes of the respondents on their subjective evaluations on the acoustic environment of urban public spaces.(3)Exploring the comfortable urban public space optimization strategy that meets people's psychological needs,and verifying three measures to improve the urban public space acoustic environment affected by square dance using noise map software.
