Fuze is the brain of the Earth Penetrating Weapon, the intelligent level of fuze plays a decisive role to the damage power of the Earth Penetrating Weapon. The paper applies related memorized test and measurement theory, designed a kind of intelligent fuze system. The system obtains the impact velocity of the EPW by recording the time-of-flight and searching the database predetermined loading in the fuze system, and setting the EPW initiation distance through getting the relative information of the target medium by the penetrating overload. The fuze control system is an intelligent system, which can real-time integrate the penetrating distance through the impact velocity and the penetrating overload and initiate according the prearrange distance.The paper first revolves around how to get true effective penetration acceleration, analyzed the process of penetration, the information included in the penetrating acceleration, the influence of stress wave spread to penetration acceleration, and the sensor selection etc. Then through analyzing empirical formulas which compute the penetration depth, adopted the impact velocity and penetration acceleration algorithm to integral the penetration distance to design the self-adaptive initiate intelligent fuze system. In order to verify the intelligent fuze system, designed a memorized test and measurement system to memorize the penetration acceleration signal simultaneously .The whole system selected embedded AVR to be the core controller, adopted CPLD to integrate the digital part logic, achieved microminiaturization and lower consumption. The intelligent fuze system, the application of which is broad and bright, isn't restricted by some qualifications such as parameters of target material, and can judge the target material to set initiation point intelligently,.Through captive simulating test, obtained the theory distance through quadratic integral to the acceleration signal by Matlab, analyzed the testing result and the causations for the errors to advanced the improved measure. The captive simulating test indicates that the intelligent fuze system fulfilled the design request.
