With the hard work of the predecessor, the application software to calculation on properties of smoke flow in fire building has been open out by Jia-ling Luo. Compared with the outsea data, the simulation data are very close, and the exploitation of the application software is successful. But the application software also has some problems, limitations and bugs. Under the gain fruits, this paper's author does some improvement, and the application software becomes more consummate and more applicable. Shown like the follow:The prophase application software adopts the methods that resolve the net mass flows, positive mass flows and negative mass flows separately. In this paper, firstly, the author resolves the two's of the three mass flows, and then employs the balance of the three mass flows to solve the leaved mass flows. With the ways, the problem of simulating results fluctuating intensively has been conquered, and now the application software can be used to simulate and calculate the properties of smoke flow in fire multi-rooms. By simulating the substantial corridor building, and comparing the calculation data and experiment data, the improved application software is successful.An ideal fan is added to get the optimum smoke extraction volume of real building and the corresponding press of the ideal fan. By comparing with the optimum smoke extraction volume and the regulation of the fire safety code of high-rise building of our country, the result shows that the code is not always with reason. Based the ideal fan, a optimum substantial fan is chosen out to simulate out the properties of the smoke flow under the condition of mechanical smoke extraction. Compared with the data of natural smoke extraction, the smoke temperature and density descend obviously and avail to evacuate. Comparing the optimum smoke extraction volume of the conditions of different fire positions and different fire intensities, the results show that the simulation data is not equation to the fire safety code.Combined with the improved sofeware and safe evacuation, safe analysis has been done respectively under the conditions of physical smoke extraction and mechanical smoke extraction. Contrasting analytic results, the definition of the optimum smoke extraction volume is correct, the select of fan is reasonable and the improvement to the software's part of mechanical smoke extraction is successful.A calculation to air supplement volume is added. The optimum air supplement volume has been calculated out to get back to the improved application software and simulate out the results to compare with the condition of no air supplement.
