Building is a gathering place for staff, in which stores a large number of combustible. Fire accidents causes great casualties and economic losses. In case of fire,whether the smoke can be excluded is closely related to evacuation and fire fighting. In this paper, according to the actual building fire conditions, It carries out smoke control system design research. Studies show that the front room door blocking the smoke in natural ventilation can achieve better results. This article analyzes the research background and fire simulation technology research status at home and abroad, and then puts forward the content of this study and technical routes. Before the smoke control system design, we must understand the basic theory of building fires and smoke control method. The article has done a detailed analysis of the two parts. Based on the analysis of confined space smoke flow, it then analyzes the fire smoke movement in the building, reveals the basic elements of smoke flow and basic method for smoke control.According to the law of smoke flow, it estabishes mathematical model of building fire smoke movement and develops design of smoke control system. Used FDS fire simulation software, it simulates the process of fire spread by a reasonable set of fire scenarios and fire growth model and obtains optimal solution of smoke control design by comparing the results of simulation analysis.Finally, the article simulates a student apartment, according to mathematical model of building fire smoke movement and the FDS fire simulation software.It proves that smoke optimal design of practicality and research building fire smoke flow in significance by simulation analysis with examples.Figure 43 table 17 reference 47...
