At present, with the increasing tonnage of ship and the improved automatization level of ship, more and more high power motors and high power semiconductor apparatus are applied on board, the demand to the synchronous alternator excited system of ships is higher and higher. At the same time with the use of the computer and big scale integrated circuit in electric power, the digital excitation regulator will replace the analog excitation regulator. Furthermore, the single chip micro-computer is more and more widespread, because it is small and special purpose is big. The single chip micro-computer provides the benefit for the special control system.The load is changing when the synchnorous alternator is normal. The effect to the synchnorous alternator excitation magnetic field is different when the capacity and power factor is different. The internal impedance voltage drop is different. To sustain the voltage of generator stable, we must regulate the excitation all the times, according to the capacity of the quality of load. This regulating course must be realized through the auto regulate machine only.The control nuclear of this system is base on the single chip micro-computer, and use Fuzzy-PID compound control, transform the voltage-stabilized power supply based on simulate component into a digital one. In this paper, it discussed the theory of Fuzzy-PID compound control. This paper also introduce the design of hardware and software, including parameters-collect circuit synchronization circuit trigger circuit and so on in detail. The paper explained the method of control and the thought of software. In regard to the disturb in this system, the corresponding methods was adopt to avoid it. In the experiment the simulator of E2000/L produced by Nanjing WAVE company and the WAVE of windows were used. After the system was completed, the result of experiment was satisfied.
