Rotor wing plane is a new concept of aircraft, and is the combination of rotor aircraft and fixed wing aircraft. The most outstanding characteristic of this plane is the rotor wing, which can circumrotates in high speed like a rotor as well as locks like a fixed wing. This makes the plane have the abilities of taking off and landing vertically like a helicopter and cruising in a high speed like a fixed wing plane. This aircraft is affordable and can be easily maintained and the structure of it is simple, so it can be widely used in military and civil field. In this thesis, the concept and some key technologies of rotor wing plane are discussed, the primary theoretic analysis and experimental investigation in react driving rotor and stopped wing are studied. The unique fore-and-aft symmetrical airfoil, which is applied in the rotor wing, is researched in numerical simulations method. By comparing the aerodynamic performance of different airfoils, the influences of airfoil camber and thickness-chord ratio on the aerodynamic capability of this special airfoil are summarized, and then, some opinions about designing this kind of airfoil are proposed. By using mature and classical axes driving rotor theory for reference, a primary evaluating method for rotor wing basic aerodynamic performance is established, and the validity of this method is verified by experimental data. The influences of rotor wing's taper ratio on the hovering efficiency are analyzed based on this method. By using the rotor wing experimental equipment, experimental investigation about the influent factors on nozzle jet reacting force is carried on, and the validity of the primary evaluating method for rotor wing aerodynamic performance is verified furthermore.
