VTOL and high-speed cruise has always been a contradiction in aircraft design, and themeditation of the two has become a hot point. This paper argues that canard rotor/wing (CRW)technology is a good choice for the integration of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, this paperproposes a new concept of aircraft design configuration which combing co-axial double rotor, obliquewing and the whole motive wing with canard-wing/rotor: carnard-coaxial rotor/wing (CCRW) aircraft. Its Purpose is to design an aircraft composing the characteristics of VTOL, high mobility withhigh-speed and high performance as fix-wing aircraft.there are four flight modes for CCRW, namely: the helicopter mode, combined mode, fixed-winghigh-speed mode,"X" oblique wing extreme speed mode. VTOL or run would be optional for takeoffand landing.CCRW is designed as coaxial dual-rotor rotary-wing with the upper and lower rotors that aresymmetric to the body always rotating in opposite direction, which increases the stability andreliability in the mode changing. The all-moving canard and tail layout is chosen for Fixed-wing part,Thrust tail rotor located at the rear fuselage, thrust vector direction can be adjusted horizontally insmall-angle to balance the small yaw moment produced by coaxial synchronous rotor, also to provideactive steering torque for the aircraft. Vertical tail is rudder-free, located in the tail ends.CCRW is suitable for emergency rescue, shipboard and investigation. It also has broadapplication in general aviation if this technology is matured, and would be more suitable for privateaircraft.
