Transmission Of Sampled Values Of Substation Process Level Based On IEC61850

Based on IEC61850, the future uniform seal communication protocol system of thepower system should be constituted. It is confirmed by IEC. With the development of thenovel electronic transducer and intelligent switchgear, the parallel wiring to link theprocess level and the bay level of substation automation system will be replaced byserialoptical cable, and it is a technology renovation of the substation automation. It is calledas process bus communication in IEC 61850. Based on the standard,the transmissionmethod of sampled values of substation process level,the basic principle and theconcrete transmission module are discussed in this dissertation.The configuration andmapping of the samped value transmission model, function model of the merging unit,the design of the figure filter and the design of the channels surveillance programme, etc,are mainly discussed in the paper. The correlative experimentations have been done inthe line protection and the transformer protection.
