This paper introduces the characteristics of power system digital simulation andsimulation credibility, and then discusses the content and key factors of model validationof power system digital simulation. Process of transient stability calculation is analyzedin detail. Based on measured data, several simulation validation principle oftime-dividing, area-dividing, layer-dividing are purposed. The paper introducessensitivity analysis method, and analyzes a four-machine system as a case. The aim of itis to decrease the parameters that need to be identified. So parameter identification ispredigested and simulation error is positioning more accurately.In the thesis, a cosmically system disturbance testing is introduced. Combined withmeasured data through PMU in actual electrical network, the paper compare load modelbased on measured data with others commonly used by simulation software, and explainthe reason that load model influences the result of simulation.The paper makes some research on power system simulation validation, andfinally refers to the subsequent research in the future.
