Research And Practice Of IEC61850 Communication Architecture

IEC 61850 "Communication networks and systems in substations" which is the only one international standard for substation automation based on general communication platforms, reflects the trend of substation automation technology, and arouses extensive concern of people who are engaged in Power System field.This paper analyses the principles of communication architecture, introduces application practice activity, and concludes the research results. The kernel content is as follows: analysis of the principle of IEC61850 communication architecture, analysis of the principle of Manufacturing Message Specification, implementation and practice of communication software according to IEC61850. The research will speed the development and application of substation automation product based on IEC61850.
